Delete Account

Effective date: 1 August 2026

This page applies to the DD Security Mobile App, provided by DD Security Service Pvt. Ltd. to its employed and engaged personnel (guards, supervisors, and operational staff). It explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data, and what happens when you do — in line with Google Play's account and data deletion requirements.

1. Request deletion from inside the app

In-app: Profile → Delete Account

If you still have the app installed and can log in:

Open the DD Security Mobile App and log in
Go to Profile
Tap Delete Account
Confirm with your password

This immediately deactivates your login and signs you out of all devices.

2. Request deletion without the app

No app, no login needed

If you've uninstalled the app, lost access to your account, or simply prefer not to use the app to make this request, contact us directly and we will process it on your behalf:

Please include in your request:

Your full name
Your registered phone number or email used to log in
Your employee/guard ID, if known
A statement that you are requesting deletion of your DD Security Mobile App account and data

We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request, to prevent someone else from deleting your account.

Email a deletion request

Because DD Security Mobile App accounts are issued by DD Security to its own personnel (there is no public self-sign-up), deletion requests are verified against our employment/engagement records before being processed.

3. What gets deleted vs. what's retained

When your deletion request is completed:

Deleted

Your login credentials and ability to access the app
Profile details you provided (photo, bio, home address, date of birth, gender, if entered)
Push-notification device tokens
Active session/authentication tokens

Retained (as required by law)

Attendance records
Payroll and disbursement records
Incident reports you submitted
Duty/roster history

Attendance, payroll, and incident records are statutory employment and business records. We retain them for the duration of your engagement and for at least 5 years afterward, or longer where Nepal labour, tax, or company law requires — even after your account and login are deleted. On-duty location history is deleted automatically after 90 days regardless of whether you request account deletion.

4. How long it takes

We process account deletion requests within 30 days of verifying your identity. You'll receive a confirmation at your registered email once your account and the data listed above under "Deleted" have been removed.
